Kamara Is Very Deserving

Ola Kamara is a lethal striker in the league. Regardless of his age (32-years-old,) and how many goals he scored from the penalty spot in 2021, Kamara still was tied for top scorer last season. On top of that, looking at his stats shows why he has to be signed as a Designated Player. Kamara has played 143 MLS matches; in those matches, he’s scored 74 goals and notched 16 assists. That’s a goal contribution about every 75 minutes he’s on the pitch.

Two Kamara's

The Saints will be keeping the Kamara's to start the 2020 season. Kei and Ola to be more specific. Both strikers have been journeymen as of late, but have proven to score goals and that is the name of the game after all. Kei Kamara will be kept as a DP, while Ola Kamara will be as a RET. Gateway United will be starting its 12th season looking to qualify for the playoffs for a 5th straight year. The club has amassed 102 wins in the regular seasons, and 6 league championships.
