Gateway United is proud to announce that Fanendo Adi has re-signed with the Saints as the clubs 3rd Designated Player in 2015 after the club completed a trade for the rights to another DP slot. After over a week of talks with Gold Coast F.C. the two sides came to terms. Gateway United will pay a lump sum of $35 and relinquish the rights to Darlington Nagbe, for the rights to a Suns DP slot. "The Saints were prepared to pay the league the asking price of $55 for the ability to keep Adi, but are pleased to be able to work out a deal with a lower asking price." said the manager.
