Even though he had only 2 goals in 12 appearances in 2010, Gateway United has selected Alvaro Fernandez in the 2nd round of the 2011 BSL draft. "Those stats are misleading. Fernandez was a summer transfer and was coming in off the bench for several matches as he got into match fit condition. When he did play he was brilliant." said the Saints owner. The hope is he will produce a lot in 2011.
