The Saints roster has been filling in nicely with now a total of 12 players signed on for the brand new season. Recently added in the last 2 days have been Yura Movsisyan, Giles Barnes, Pedro Morales, Lucas Ontivero, Nelson Valdez, Chris Rolfe, Kelyn Rowe, Chris Pontius, and Khiry Shelton. This leaves only 4 spots available.
Its been a busy and productive day of wheeling and dealing for Gateway United as the men in green worked a deal to get Bradley Wright Phillips from SC Canada. Phillips was signed as the Saints 2nd Designated Player of 2016 after the trade was completed. BWP has scored 44 goals in the past 2 seasons. Gateway United will now pick 2nd overall in the first round of the BSL draft.
Gateway United revealed today that Ignacio Piatti will return as a Designated Player in 2016. The Midfielder had 9 goals and 8 assists for the Saints in 2015.
