"A good goal keeper can make all the difference." That was the words spoken in a press conference held this weekend. Gateway United's backup goal keeper in 2015 (behind David Ousted) was signed to a contract extension to suit up once again for the Saints signed under a retention player contract. "He's a good player who could have more of an impact this season." Will Irwin be raised to starting keeper in 2016 or be limited to backup again remains to be seen.
