After taking an early lead against the Spartans, Quincy Amarikwa received a costly red card which would come back to bite the Saints turning a 2 point lead into 1 and then the hottest player in the league, Clint Dempsey scored the equalier and game winner ending the Saints 3 match winning streak. Now comes Gold Coast F.C., but the Saints will be without Michael Bradley, Donovan and Amarikwa.
