Week 21
It was an interesting week in the Gateway United camp. The loss to Union SC took a back seat. The club went dark soon after with the decision to not participate in any of the bidding wars that took place this week. Officially the club will go on record to say that it did not agree with the bidding war practices of the league and in frustration spoke out. "The Saints have been in communication with the commish regarding this grievance and not against the BSL, not against the commish, not against any particular club." said an official spokesperson for the club. Further details will not be released. Recently the BSL has announced the Acquisition Budget. It already appears to be a much better option. Could it need some tweaking down the road? Possibly. But, it looks like a better way.
