Mission: Championship Season

So what is the mission for Gateway United in 2012. What changes can be made to turn a playoff club into a championship club? In a recent interview with the clubs captain, Landon Donovan, the response was simply to wait and see. The offseason can be full of surprises, but one thing is for sure, the mindset is always to finish with a championship. "Winning isn't everything. It's the only thing" said the Saints owner. "At some point the breaks have to go our way when it counts. This club needs to build a roster that can withstand injuries and is deep enough to score 4 to 5 points every single week even when key players are missing for National Team duties."
